Ørjan Amundsen’s newest work, Observable Universe, is an elaborated montage film based on the repetition of a few words, which are instantly set in a new visual context. By opening all kind of associations and layers Amundsen is on the search for the connotation of words and the connection between them.
Ørjan Amundsen holds a bachelor’s degree from the Art Academy in Tromsø and is currently studying at the Art Academy in Trondheim. His works, whether it takes the form of video, sound, text or performance are often of an existential kind that tend to oscillate between tragedy and comedy.
